🌍 Countries Requiring a Medical Tourism Visa
The following countries must apply for a medical tourism visa to enter Korea for medical purposes:
China, Philippines, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Mongolia, Thailand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Iran, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt, Peru
Medibook assists with:
 • Medical appointment confirmation with an affiliated hospital
 • Official invitation letter issuance
 • Preparation of supporting documents (e.g., medical statement, financial proof)
 • End-to-end visa application support

🛫 Visa-Free Entry & K-ETA Eligibility
Citizens of the following countries can enter Korea without a visa for short-term medical stays and may use the K-ETA system instead:
United States, Canada, Japan, France, Germany, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and most EU member states
 • Most can stay up to 90 days

📌 1. How to Make a Reservation
Our standard reservation process is as follows:
1. Select a hospital item on the Medibook platform
2. Submit your reservation request
3. Coordinator consultation & hospital confirmation
4. Invoice issuance & payment
💡 Based on your reservation, we will confirm whether a medical visa is required for your country.
We also offer additional support services:
 • Assistance with flight booking, ground transportation, and hotel arrangements
 • Optional tour services and guided sightseeing (→ View Tour Packages)
 • Deposit amounts vary by hospital and will be shared during the consultation

⏳ 2. Time Required for Confirmation
 • Hospital Reservation: Typically takes 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays)
 • Tour Reservation: Confirmation depends on the number of participants. Once the deposit is paid, the remaining balance will be requested separately.
📅 Please note: Tour prices vary by date depending on airfare and hotel pricing fluctuations.

📦 3. After Reservation & Payment
 • Once the deposit is paid, we will guide you on final payment and ask for traveler information.
 • About two weeks before your departure, we will open a group page and chat room on Medibook for communication with your coordinator and fellow travelers.
