Treatment Review | Ulthera P-Prime

I booked an appointment for Ulthera P-Prime at the Apgujeong branch and went in today with equal parts curiosity and anxiety. The clinic was lively when I arrived—lots of patients, including several foreign clients—which oddly calmed me down; places don’t get this busy without solid word-of-mouth.
The visit started with a thorough skin check. The coordinator walked me through my current concerns, while the doctor sat down for a one-on-one consultation that didn’t feel rushed. Together, those two conversations took over 40 minutes. They mapped my face, pointed out why my jawline was looking heavy in photos, and explained how Ulthera P-Prime targets deeper layers. I appreciated the candor: they discouraged “add-ons” I didn’t need and set realistic expectations—subtle immediately, then gradual tightening over weeks.

Even with numbing cream, Ulthera isn’t painless. There were moments where the energy “bit,” but it was less brutal than my previous Ulthera elsewhere. The doctor’s pacing helped: brief pauses, checking tolerance, then continuing. Right after treatment my face wasn’t dramatically different (that’s normal), but there was minimal swelling, zero bruising, and I could go straight back to daily life. The staff also reviewed aftercare—hydration, sunscreen, what to avoid—and scheduled a follow-up.
By the time I left, I felt looked-after rather than “processed.” It’s the difference between someone simply running a device and a team that’s attentive to your face—today, next month, and beyond. Early days yet, but I’m optimistic about the jawline in a few weeks. I’m planning to pair it with a hairline-friendly skincare routine and check back after the collagen remodeling window.
